Switch it on as the sun drops and let it work the dark: moths, gnats, midges, house flies, fruit flies, wasps and a share of the mosquitoes that follow them.

Why it lives on the hook, not on the table
We shaped the T6 Pro like a porch lantern for a reason: it wants height and distance. Hang it ten to twenty feet from where you sit, about head-high or a little above, and it draws the traffic away from your plate instead of toward it.
The grid, from the inside
Inside the black ABS shell sits a twin-tube 15 W lamp wrapped by an electric grid charged to 4,200 volts. The outer bars keep fingers and paws off the live grid; the spark happens on contact, and whatever falls lands in the tray below.
Questions about the Zap T6 Pro
Will the T6 Pro work in daylight?
It will switch on, but it does its best work after dusk. The blue-violet lamp has to be the brightest thing around for flyers to choose it, so evenings and nights are its shift.
Can I leave it out in the rain?
Keep it under an eave, a pergola roof or a covered porch. It is built for outdoor air, not for a direct soaking, and a dry lantern keeps a clean spark.
Which bulb does it take?
Our 15 W U-shaped replacement bulb with the 4-pin base. It is the same tube that ships inside the T6 Pro, sold in a single or a two-pack.
