Cut to fit the Zap T6 Pro, K15, T9 and X3 lanterns: a U-shaped twin tube on a 4-pin base that seats the same way the original did.
365 nm, the colour the night flyers chase
A 15 W blue-violet UV tube tuned to the wavelength moths, gnats and flies steer toward in the dark. Same pull as the day the lantern came out of the box.
Measure once, order once
Each tube is 7.75" long, 1.77" wide and 0.9" deep. Lay your old bulb on a ruler before you order; if the numbers match, it is your bulb.

Take a single tube for the lantern on the hook, or the two-pack so next season's swap is already in the garage when the glow fades.

Power off, twist the tray counter-clockwise, loosen the base screw, trade tubes and close it up. No tools beyond a screwdriver and a minute.

Why a tired bulb still glows
UV tubes fade before they fail. A lamp can look lit to your eye while the 365 nm output that flyers respond to has dropped. If the catch shrinks while the bugs clearly have not, the tube is the first suspect.
How often we swap ours
On lanterns that run every night of the season, a fresh tube each spring keeps the pull steady. Lanterns that only come out for weekend cookouts can go longer.
Questions about the 15 W replacement bulb
Will it fit a lantern from another brand?
It fits any lantern that takes a 15 W U-shaped tube with a 4-pin base at 7.75" long. Measure the old tube and check the pins before ordering.
Does the JY-02 take the same bulb?
The JY-02 also runs a 15 W replaceable tube. Measure the one inside yours against 7.75" × 1.77" and the 4-pin base; if they match, this is the one.
Can I touch the new tube with bare hands?
Yes. It is a fluorescent-style UV tube, not a halogen capsule, so skin oils will not shorten its life. Just keep the lantern unplugged while you swap.
